And She Lived...
I've been writing and photographing a series of newly imagined fairytales - with the very talented Kat Epneris from Always Elegant, LLC (hair & makeup artistry) - since 2018. Below are just 6 of stories that we have collaborated on... with many more to come.

I'm the daughter of a first generation immigrant... and my mom is white (Irish & English decent). Growing up in a small town - surrounded by farming communities, there wasn't anyone who looked like me (I was 1 of 3 PoC in my HS class). Even today, I don't really fit into the Asian Indian (Dad's side) community. And, although I grew up in an all-white town, I don't really feel like I fit there either. Which is why I live in Columbus... I love the diversity.

This project has two main goals:
1) Show all types of women - all races, all ages, all shapes, and all sizes - being the hero
2) Create stories in which they are all in charge of their destiny
(Okay, this is also when I practice new photography techniques and skills)
